If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

a collection of observations
peaking out
from the shelter of isolation
desiring the world
yet fearing the light
if I had a dream
they would be eaten away
slowly, but surely
taken from me
by insecurities that bully
my heart; now secluded
left trembling, hiding,
in fear
where are we;
going, take me somewhere
new, breathing,
take my heart
on an adventure
leading me down avenues
unexplored, unimagined
the storm is just beyond
encroaching on fabricated tranquility
like ripples in sand
slowly growing
yet so unlike them
for they fade
as quickly as they came
block out my heart
like you close out the light
leaving me stranded
and helpless; and lonely
so hopeless
As I look to the heavens
wondering if it exists
pondering, searching
unanswerable questions
asking why, my heart hurts
knowing there is nothing
beyond my own imagination
to relieve me from this
reality, letting go of it all
I’m shattering
I’m splintering
I’m cracking
from this pressure
cul-min-ate-ing
from within
Your tears pour
into my soul
onto my shoulder
Is there a hope,
when you’re so lost
the path so obstructed
there is no way home
